Northern Limestone Jungles
Hafa Adai from the Guam Community!
Beautiful beaches, tropical plants and wildlife, ancient heritage, and familiar places and people are some of my favorite qualities about Guam. With its warm climate, laid-back lifestyles, and wide array of Asian Cuisine, this cultural melting pot has been my “home” since the day I was born here.
Hafa adai! What pleasure and gratitude I feel for this special place. There is something inherently sacred and magical about this tiny island, especially when you step into its jungle areas that have been untouched for countless years. I grew up being told the many legends, stories, and mythology of Guam, while learning about its ancient history. Guam, or Guahan in Chamorro (the native language of the island), will always hold a special place in my heart. It is an island with personality and spirit, kindness and hospitality. Here we make time for family, music, food, and spirituality. Quality of life must never be taken for granted, but cherished and appreciated. And there is plenty of inspiration to do that here on this exotic little rock that is home to many!
