Hundreds Turn Out For Luna Festival
Even the threat of a passing typhoon didn’t stop the island’s residents from attending the first annual Luna Festival at Jeff’s Pirates’ Cove in Ipan on Oct. 4.
“The turnout was great. We were expecting at least 200 people, and there were at least 500 people who showed up throughout the event,” says Michele Pier, organizer of the festival and creator of Inspired Living.
“Kids and adults alike came to enjoy themselves, many of whom were in costume,” Pier added. Attendees were encouraged to come in costume, a feature of the event, which also got them in free.
